I have been a singer from aged 5 and have always loved music. However after suffering personal problems earlier this year I had lost all interest in my music and was feeling very low. After three sessions with Dr Borland I gained my confidence in both singing and other important aspects of my life. I felt re-energised and much improved and can't thank her enough for the help she gave me. I am now back in control of my life and happily singing again.

I had not anticipated the impact that working with Denise would have. It was not just the effect on my voice (which was striking) but also the discovery of how significant emotional and psychological factors are in voice quality. It was fascinating to experience how Denise was able to identify when my thoughts or feelings were affecting my voice. It was even more amazing how she then taught me various strategies, drawing on her training in body psychotherapy as well as more of a traditional singing teacher’s knowledge of the mechanics of voice production, to address these. I went along to improve the quality of my speaking voice – and discovered that I could sing!
My voice disappeared after the April op. Too many meds that dry me out. I have been resuscitating it with tender but tough lessons from Dr Denise Borland. She lives in Scotland and she teaches me via Skype. Sceptics communicated negative comments about learning-at-a-distance - but the strange thing is: it works. Voice returning. Self-confidence returning. Pleasure in singing returning. Denise is as good to look at as well as to learn from.
Having first-hand experience of being supported by the Singer's Psyche/Psyche Approach work, I am well aware of its impact and very keen to share it with others. Training as a practitioner has added enormously to my skills and understanding, not only as a professional but in my personal life. This system is unique and sophisticated, bringing together areas of expertise that compliment each other perfectly. I am delighted to be in the process of bringing this learning into my field of work with vulnerable young people.
I now have a deeper understanding of my self, my behaviors and how I communicate in all aspects of my life and work through my work at Noble House. Psyche coaching has not only introduced me to the concept of resources, grounding, communication, etc., it has given me the skills to actually experience and build these in my day to day experience. Awareness is great, but I now feel like I have integrated these life skills in to my life. I feel I now have the language and understanding to survive the most difficult times and I have so many wonderful times to enjoy because of that.
Noble Breath is one of the very best resources I know to get myself grounded, relaxed and happy when I need to!
